Tour Itinerary
06:00 AM – 06:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in the Taksim area.
06:30 AM – 07:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in the Sultanahmet area. After pick-up, depart for Eceabat in a comfortable, non-smoking, air-conditioned minibus.
11:20 AM: Arrive in Eceabat and enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant, providing an opportunity to relax and sample traditional Turkish cuisine before the tour begins.
12:30 PM: Begin a fully guided tour of Gallipoli‘s most significant historical sites. The first stop is Brighton Beach, where you will learn about the landing points of the ANZAC forces. Continue to Beach Cemetery, the final resting place of many soldiers, including John Simpson Kirkpatrick, known for his bravery during the campaign. The tour then proceeds to the somber ANZAC Cove, a place of great significance for both Australian and New Zealand visitors. Next, visit Ariburnu Cemetery, where you can pay respects to the fallen soldiers.
The journey continues to the ANZAC Commemorative Site, a memorial dedicated to the courage and sacrifice of the ANZAC soldiers. Then, visit the Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, a tribute to the Turkish soldiers who defended their homeland. From there, explore the Lone Pine Australian Memorial, which honors the Australian forces that fought in Gallipoli.
Your tour will then take you to Johnston’s Jolly, where you will see the preserved Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels. The next stop is the 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial, paying homage to the courage and sacrifice of the Turkish regiment.
